A MULTI-DAY DESTINATION WEDDING AT FINCA SERENA, MALLORCA: SOPHIA & HARRY: THE WEDDING DAY

Sophia & Harry’s multi-day destination wedding in Mallorca took place at Finca Serena a 5* luxury hotel nestled in the Mallorcan hills. Hired exclusively, this estate offers breathtakingly versatile spaces, with inimitable sunsets and unparalleled 360-degree views surrounding the entire property.
The couple contacted us to be their destination wedding planners as they were based in America with guests scattered internationally around the world. Not only did they want a planner who could curate an epic party, they wanted someone who knew the island and had the knowledge to build trusted relationships overseas and expertly manage the additional logistics and research required to bring a celebration to life in Mallorca.
Guests arrived in the late afternoon at The Pentanque to find iced water, silk fans and paper parasols - beautiful protection from the Mallorcan heat.
Sophia walked down the serpentine aisle to “Best Part” by Daniel Caesar. Along her path in between pockets of seated guests lay rambling floral meadows made up of timeless blooms and dried grasses in various contemporary shapes. Wildly weaving through the outer aisle they reached a crescendo at the altar - an explosion of floral wow, a magnificent backdrop, and an arch that framed the couple as they said their wedding vows.
For her wedding day, Sophia chose a gown with a structured bodice and waterfall tulle skirt from the American bridal designer Amsale, celebrated for their timeless, minimalistic flair. She paired the look with pointed Jimmy Choos and full sequined bucket bag. Sophia added a touch of drama and sparkle with a necklace and matching earrings from Anabela Chan, a jeweller based in Chelsea, London.
After the wedding ceremony, guests walked up to Finca Serena’s Olive Terrace for glasses of sangria, canapes including an Iberico ham station and to get their portrait done by a live fashion painter before heading to The Vineyards for dinner.
After being transported to the Finca Serena Vineyards, guests found their seats via personalised cream leather luggage tags before making their way to a raised platform where a draped wooden pergola, adorned with long tables, awaited them.
Inspired by the beautiful grape-filled rows of vines surrounding the space, the tablescape was simple yet sophisticated. Latte linens covered long tables, which were lined with white and green floral runners, accented with pops of orange and cascades of fresh grapes — a subtle nod to the beauty of the vineyard setting.
They ate, they drank, and they listened to beautiful speeches before they watched the sun go down behind the mountains.
‘Club Lix’ was a bespoke rave we transformed inside the emptied Finca Serena hotel interior with draping, lighting and production that took the guests’ after party to the next level. Six silver mirrored podiums hosted Everso’s live brass band as red lasers cut through the haze, electrifying the space with light, sound, and energy. Due to the lasers only film photography could be taken inside but view the epic party on TikTok here!
Sophia also transitioned her look. A Galia Lahav minidress fully embellished with sequins and heeled converse trainers was the perfect fit to reflect the electric, pulsating lighting production!
