I am Emily. I love food, travel, cricket, deep conversations, and a glass of wine. My love for weddings began when I was 17 on 16-hour shifts in marquee catering tents. It was hard work, but being amongst the atmosphere of the manic behind-the-scenes action at such a young age and I was totally addicted. I loved everything about the process of the entire occasion.
What you may not know about me is that I am a professionally trained singer. For 5 years whilst running a luxury London cocktail venue I was also often on the other side of weddings and travelled the world to sing at the most beautiful lavish events in places such as Tuscany, The Seychelles, and New York.
I was booked by some of the most incredible wedding planners and although I loved being a huge part of creating the atmosphere, It was then I realised I truly wanted to be back in the thick of the day again. Planning, not performing.
Planning weddings and events gives me everything I need in life, the buzz and adrenaline of being in charge of an event, and the ability to let my creativity and passion for design run wild. I truly adore my job (which is why I have been here for 11 years) and I have always been most fulfilled when I feel I am successful and love what I do. I plan and design occasions for the wholehearted appreciation I receive from my clients for simply doing what I know and love, and the relationships I have made along the way.
