A WINTER WEDDING AT EURIDGE MANOR: HAYLEY & CIARRAN: THE WEDDING DAY
Photography By Martad Weddings
We planned H&Cs winter wedding at Euridge Manor (our second wedding at the top UK wedding venue) in the UK in just 5 months whilst they resided in Australia.
The couple approached us as their UK luxury wedding planners with a clear intention: to ensure their guests (who had travelled from across the globe) felt part of a truly exceptional experience. We designed and delivered every element of their four-day celebration, from the headline events to the more intimate in-between moments, including breakfasts, lunches, and thoughtfully planned activities.
Hayley was also hugely design-led and wanted to showcase her more contemporary fashion-forward style whilst still ensuring personal elements were woven through. At In Awe Weddings & Events instead of having a signature style our strength in wedding design is having the ability to morph into different styles depending on our clients, their personal preferences, stories and the intention of their event experience. Any wedding design we curate is a true reflection of our couples and no two celebrations are the same.
Euridge Manor is a privately owned estate set within the rolling countryside of the Cotswolds. The architecture blends historic character with theatrical romance.
From the iconic manicured rose gardens to the grand Ballroom, each setting flows seamlessly into the next, allowing celebrations to unfold across multiple locations throughout the day. Euridge Manor provides a breathtaking backdrop for multi-day wedding experiences.
With its sense of privacy, layered architecture and endless design potential, Euridge Manor was perfect to curate a highly personalised and unforgettable expereince for every guest.
Hayley and Ciarran spent the morning of their big day with their nearest and dearest, it was pure Hollywood glamour.
Hayley looked every inch the leading lady. She chose 2 gowns. The first a fairytale Pronovias design, with a pearl-embellished veil and a dramatic, sweeping train. For the evening, she changed into a sultry Berta lace fishtail fit with Chanel-style pearl detailing on the bodice. She paired the looks with pointed Jimmy Choo shoes.
Ciarran swooned in a velvet black classic tux and later in a white James Bond style dinner jacket.
Guests arrived at dusk to Euridge Manor’s Rose Garden, where we had erected a glasshouse marquee to host their winter wedding ceremony. This allowed guests to feel fully immersed in the surrounding evergreen gardens, while remaining warm, comfortable and protected from the elements.
Hayley walked down a the aisle to a string quartet playing Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World.
The ceremony design was a fairytale personified. A 10 x 7 metre rambling floral installation covered in white blooms spanned the entire back wall of the structure, while crystal chandeliers appeared to float beneath the glass ceiling and hundreds of hurricane candles glowed in the fading light.
After the ceremony, guests entered into the transformed Ballroom for the first time. A dining area covered in opulent drapery, seamlessly blending the couple’s love of contemporary styling with classic elegance.
We served cocktails and delicate Asian-inspired canapés, a nod to their favourite restaurants, while the smooth sounds of live jazz set the mood. Menus were illustrated in the style of Japanese art and featured palm trees inspired by the daily walks the couple take with their beloved dogs.
Guests were invited to visit an old-fashioned cinema ticket booth to collect their table assignments, a playful reference to H&C’s tradition of spending Sundays at the cinema together.
We fully transformed the second side of the Euridge Manor Ballroom to emulate gangster glamour with black draping, an empire and gold chain chandelier ceiling installation, marble-style checkerboard flooring, fringed black velvet lounge furniture and up-lit backbar with all spirits for serving in antique crystal whiskey decanters.
‘The Noir Bar’ was designed as an immersive party speakeasy inspired by H&C's love of all things Mobland, Snatch, and Quentin Tarantino.
The bespoke stage 3-tiered build was an epic display of production, that delivered an instant wow as guests entered into the space before the night unfolded into full throttle party and celebrity surprise!
After an arrival espresso martini, guests were stunned with a surprise performance from Boy George & The Culture Club.
The 80's pop icons stunned guests with a set of original hits and memorable covers to a packed dance floor.
Our goal when planning any luxury occasion is to constantly try and push the boundaries of the norm, and curate ideas and spaces that guests wouldn’t usually expect to see. Those unobtrusive, untraditional wows that become some of the most memorable. We crafted a new immersive experience for the evening, transforming the space outside the marquee into a charming late-night restaurant replicating the Pizza Trattoria of one of Ruth & Andy’s favourite first holidays. We sectioned off the area with real hedging, draped festoon lighting overhead, and rolled in a rustic pizza truck, then added nuances such as red-and-white gingham tablecloths, bistro tables, hand-drawn chalkboards, and personalized pizza boxes. Tipsy guests feasted on freshly made sourdough Italian pizzas, adding a delightful artisanal touch to the evening as they indulged in this unexpected after-dark space.
EMILY PUTS HER HEART & SOUL INTO WEDDING PLANNING
‘I cannot put into words how much Emily puts her heart and soul into her wedding planning and execution.
She made me feel so safe and calm during such a crazy and stressful week. He and her team makes sure everything is taken care of and more.
My husband and I miss her and her team already! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to make your dream wedding happen!’
