COTSWOLDS WEDDING AT EURIDGE MANOR: EMILY & JOE

Emily & Joe’s wedding was set in the heart of the Cotswolds countryside at the beautiful Euridge Manor. They wanted a UK wedding venue would completely wow their guests and had a number of spaces we could transform for each area of the day.

Emily initially came to me 6 months before their wedding day, she had booked the venue but was unable to visualise how to place everything and because Euridger Manor is dry hire she was completely overwhelmed with the logistics of planning. It was amazing to see her go from ‘hating wedding planning’ to revelling in the process with me!

The couple’s design was all about enchanted elegance, playing on the magic of their wedding venue and ensuring the day felt like home to them and their intimate guestlist of 60 loved ones. Emily’s Milla Nova wedding dress was also a huge centrepiece to the wedding design, a complete modern fairytale adorned with crystals.

The ceremony took place at The Boat House, we knew guests would need a little time to take in their breathtaking surroundings so planned for a glass of champagne on the gallery overlooking the water and rolling Cotswold countryside before Emily and her bridal party walked down the stone steps for her and Joe to say ‘I do’.

We wanted the venue to speak for itself so opted for a curved floor-standing floral meadow filled with huge glamourous pastel flowers that beautifully framed the couple, we also then repurposed these meadows to add even more impact later on. Emily walked down the aisle to an acoustic version of ‘Better, by Kahlid’ played by live saxophone.

After the ceremony, we took guests up to the manicured rose garden where we added a pavilion and outdoor lounge area for them to enjoy those intimate conversations. The cocktail served was inspired by Emily’s Aunty Glenda who unfortunately is no longer with us, she loved Hendricks and as an ode to her we served the ‘Glendricks’, a blend of Hendricks, Apple, Elderflower and Champagne.

Guests dined in Euridge Manor’s Ballroom. We transformed the space into a pastel fairytale with an incredible column floral installation that framed the couple’s sweetheart top table, drapes softening the walls and lounge areas where guests could rest their feet in between dancing. The silver mirrored dancefloor reflected the light of the candles beautifully and each guest had their own mini gin at their place setting (Emily & Joe love gin and tonics!), which they used to create their own gin and tonic after the meal at a botanical bar!

As soon as the speeches had finished Emily and Joe took their first dance and then guests were entertained by Entourage Official’s musical trio of DJ, sax and electric violinist; they partied late into the night!

EMILY’S ATTENTION TO DETAIL & METICULOUS PLANNING IS SECOND TO NON!

‘To put it simply, Emily you are absolutely incredible at what you do. Emily's attention to detail, meticulous planning and insane organisation throughout the journey was second to none. If you’re looking for the most magical day of your life, get Emily on board as I guarantee it’ll be worth every single penny. Keep doing what you do Emily, you’re a class act with a sense of professionalism I have never seen before, a breath of fresh air. Thank you for all your hard work!’
