WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
Our office is based in a Victorian terrace in Nottinghamshire. But, you are more than likely to find us wedding planning in London city wedding venues like The Ned, in Yorkshire at Middleton Lodge or Hodsock Priory, or even at Iscoyd Park in Wales. We are prepared to travel anywhere in the UK to plan your wedding (that's the best part of being based in the middle of the country!), from The Cotswolds, to Surrey and even as far up as Scotland or all the way down to Devon!
DO YOU PLAN MARQUEE WEDDINGS?
Yes! We love a marquee wedding be it placed in the grounds of a country manor or at your own property! With the increased logistical challenges a marquee wedding incurs a wedding planner is an absolute must for such a complex occasion, and we love the challenge!
WHAT STYLE OF WEDDINGS DO YOU PLAN?
Our job as UK wedding stylists is to create an authentic style that inspired by your individualities. That being said we usually build these details upon visual styles of contemporary glamour, elegant understated luxury, full of florals and sophistication.
WHAT ARE THE LATEST WEDDING RESTRICTIONS IN THE UK REGARDING CORONAVIRUS?
Wedding restrictions with regards to coronavirus are ever changing, the best way to find the most up to date information is to visit the What About Weddings Official Site. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PLAN A WEDDING IN THE UK?
Weddings are complex events and can take up to 300-400 hours to plan, and thats for a professional who has all the tools and knowledge at their fingertips. So it really does depend on how long it will take for you to put aside all those hours to plan your wedding if you arent considering hiring a planner. The average lead time most of my clients have is 1 year to 18 months, but that being said as a professional I have planned weddings in a matter of months too!
I AM WORRIED ABOUT BOOKING A PLANNER BECAUSE I WANT OTHER PEOPLE TO BE INVOLVED IN THE WEDDING PLANNING PROCESS WITH ME!
Don't worry our role as your planners is to collaborate with you and whoever you wish to be involved in the planning process! We love getting to know your close family and friends and taking them along to our venue site visits and meetings if you want them to be there and involved. At the beginning of our planning process we establish if there is anyone who is really important in planning, we can add them into our shared calendar for important dates and deadlines or even CC them into emails if you wish.
WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?
All investments in our services are bespoke fixed fee terms with minimum fees that are dependent on the location, number of guests, the complexity of your event and your budget,
For Partial Wedding Planning & Styling we ask for the full fee upon booking.
For On The Day Management we ask for an initial 50% deposit, and then the remaining balance 1 month prior to your wedding day.
We are able to offer bespoke installment packages to clients who require this though so do still get in touch and discuss these in your initial consultation!
IF MY VENUE HAS A WEDDING COORDINATOR SURELY I DONT NEED ON THE DAY MANAGEMENT?
Wedding venues do an incredible job and work with us seamlessly to execute our wedding days. Please know and understand that a venue coordinator for you wedding day is only going to coordinate components that relate to the venue, for example, they won't be able to spend time communicating an on the day schedule and directions to your venue with all your suppliers the week before.
When setting up, suppliers will be let in by your venue manager but they wont have time to help with the set up of any other items being delivered that arent the venues (this includes centrepieces, cakes, florals, favors, wedding stationary, candles, any other props and decor etc). Could you be satisfied everything was exactly how you envisioned it without travelling to your venues on the morning of your wedding to put in those finishing touches and check everything over?
During the running of your day we are there to ensure all the needs and queries of individual guests are taken care of you whilst your venue coordinator will be managing thier staff and keeping service is going smoothly. Because we know you personally and understand your entire vision as if we had been planning alongside you from the beginning we don't just see the what in your decisions but the why. Meaning we can adapt and change throughout realise you visions and desired atmosphere whilst easily making decisions or solving any problems on your behalf so you enjoy each exquisite moment as you imagined your guests would blissfully unaware.
