AN ELEGANT BLACK TIE ISCOYD PARK WEDDING
WEDDING DESIGN INSPIRATION BY EMILY JUNE 14TH 2021 - WEDDING EDITORIAL
An elegant spring Iscoyd Park wedding, showcasing the modern bride as a daring, tradition-breaking, sexy, fun, all-loving female who is almighty beautiful.
Iscoyd Park is a private country house situated in Shropshire and is a family run wedding venue dating back to 1737. The owners have recognised the want for couples to get married in a beautiful historic venue that has a perfectly balanced classic contemporary interior. Iscoyd Park is a stunning venue to style, it’s interior is a brilliant backdrop for any couple to be able to put their stamp on it whilst still feeling and including the wonderful character it holds. Emmy Shoots editorial style was perfect for this shoot and Perfect Moment Films produced a stunning trailer that encapsulated Rohiny as a sexy, fun, almighty beautiful modern bride
ISCOYD PARK WEDDING VISION
When curating the vision and essence of this shoot I wanted to focus on The Modern Bride and creating a backdrop that had all the elements of a timeless elegant wedding but hinted to a little bit of city chic and understated glamour. The neutral palette and embellished styling with feathers, tassels and crystal tableware complimented Iscoyd Parks stately home esque but would equally not look out of place in a grand hotel in the centre of London.
The floral design by Emma at Luna bloom really carried the vehicle for spring, she used her own British home-grown cuttings and the towering branches of white blossom. Flowers are always how I add colour to my designs, I adored the muted tones of peach and mulberry in the aged tulips and of course the array of neutrals and fresh greens she used on the tablescape, fireplace and in the bridal bouquet.
In Iscoyd Parks Drawing Room
When designing the Iscoyd Park wedding tablescape I wanted to focus on bringing together many textures and layers. Having a variety of textures in a tablescape creates interest and movement for the eye, I used beautiful urbane linen from Casa Di Gaia and layered different crystal cuts of glassware and charger plates from Whitehouse Crockery and candlesticks from Issy Granger London. The florals from Luna Bloom added softness using the delicate opened tulips and then we used blossom for extra height and wow factor!
Personalised Authentic Elements
I am so lucky to have built up such an incredible network of talented industry-leading suppliers, it is their skill and creativity that take my wedding designs to the next level. Both Millie Stone and Caroline Debonnaire‘s work on the editorial are a perfect example of this.
Using my initial concept and style guide they curated some incredible bespoke designs that linked perfectly even though they had never conversed about the shoot with each other. Millie’s stationery was absolutely beautiful, she incorporated delicate drawings of Iscoyd Park and the feathers on the envelope added a little bit of glamour. The feathered design of Cake by CD's intricate and highly detailed cake was just so beautiful and tied the wedding styling together.
THE BRIDE AND GROOM
The Modern Style-Conscious Couple
Our bride wore 2 outfits. The first, a stunning 2 piece by Charlie Brear. the full feather Piora skirt was mesmerising in the way it moved, and you could still see the glint of mother of pearl shoes by Freya Rose London. Charli Smith executed a glamorous finger wave and glowy natural makeup which was soft against the feather skirt and then a tied back updo and a red lip for the evening. Our modern bride power dressed for the evening in a Bowen Dryden suit from Morgan Davies Bridal. Both looks were accessorised with Botias Accessories the quality and beauty of all Boe’s pieces speak for themselves.
I absolutely loved designing this Iscoyd Park Wedding editorial, especially as at the beginning of this year this UK wedding venue was on my bucket list of places to work!
